How To Purchase

We want to make buying from fabstuff.net as simple as possible.

These are the steps:

Fill in a few details to complete the order

We accept PayPal 

If there are any problems with your order, we will refund the monies back onto your card.  Where we are not at fault, there is an administration charge for refunds of £0.95.

Otherwise you can send us a cheque in GBP (£) making it payable to Fabstuff Ltd. 

Email us and let us know the item(s) you require and the details of where you would like the item(s) to be posted. 

Please don't forget to add shipping costs if applicable.


Returns Policy

At fabstuff.net we operate a no quibble refund guarantee.  We want you to be totally satisfied with your goods.

We believe that you will be delighted with your product but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Unwanted Goods

If you are not happy with the product, for whatever reason, just return it - unused and in its original packaging with all its components - within 28 days of receipt, and we will refund the money to you, minus the postage cost and gift wrapping service if selected. 

We recommend you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon receipt (such as Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery) and which insures you for the cost of the items being returned, as in the rare event of the parcel going missing you are responsible for the returned products until they reach us.  Items that are returned to us remain the customer's responsibility (and a refund will not be given) until they are received by us in good order.  Please note, unless the item is faulty, the return postage costs you incur will not be reimbursed. 

If you return a product to us that is not in an ‘as new’ condition we reserve the right to return the product to you, or refund you in fabstuff.net gift vouchers rather than credit your payment card.

If the item is still in stock, we can either send you a replacement or refund the cost of the item or you may wish to choose a different item.

When returning goods we will also need to know why you are returning, by what method and date they will arrive and your contact details.

Certain products and services are excluded from this returns policy.  These items cannot be returned for a refund unless faulty

Such items include:

CDs, DVDs, videos and computer software where the product is not sealed and unopened as we cannot make sure in these circumstances that copies of the product have not been made;

Perishable items;

Items which cannot be resold for health and hygiene reasons once unwrapped (jewellery, baby clothes, slippers and personal grooming products);

Kits that have been partially or fully assembled

Faulty Products

If the item is faulty or damaged when you receive it, please notify us within 5 days of receipt.

Any item that develops a fault after the 28 days no quibble refund guarantee, will need to be returned to the manufacturer who will repair it or replace it free of charge, provided that the fault was not caused by accident, misuse or negligence. 

If any of these are believed to be the cause of the fault, then the item will be returned unrepaired and a charge may be payable.

Repair turnaround time is dependant on the relevant manufacturer's current workload. We will not accept any claims for losses you suffer during this time.

fabstuff.net does not disclose buyers' information to third parties. 

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping trolley once you have selected an item. 

Data collected by this site is used to:

1) Take and fulfill customer orders
2) Administer and enhance the site and service 
3) Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes


Delivery & Shipping

Delivery times vary not only according to the size and weight of the product but also the type of product ordered. 

Some of the items are made by designers and may be created especially for you so please allow up to 28 working days; this will be stated with the product. 

Otherwise allow up to 14 working days for delivery.

UK Goods will be sent by Royal Mail Standard Second Class Service, Courier or Special Delivery and will usually arrive within 14 working days.

Unless postal insurance is requested, we can not be held responsible for any items undelivered or damaged.  If insurance is required, the buyer must select express shipping.

We always obtain a Certificate of Posting, and will do our very best to assist the customer in making a claim for compensation against Royal Mail for any lost items,  although this is no guarantee that the claim will be accepted

 Please ensure that the delivery address details are correct when placing your order, as Royal Mail will not accept claims if there is any error with the delivery address. 

If the error is ours, we will send out a replacement order or issue a full refund.  

If the error is yours, we will not send out a replacement order free of charge nor will you be entitled to any refund.

If an order is returned to us as having been undelivered / undeliverable and you would like us to send your order out again, we will have to charge you the actual shipping cost, which may be higher than our standard delivery charges.

We will contact you if there is likely to be any delay with your order and you can then have the choice of either waiting for the item or cancelling your order.

Unfortunately, delays can occur owing to circumstances outside of our control (for example, Postal Strikes) and therefore, we incur no liability for delays or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.

We do not deliver to PO Box Addresses.

Quotes for international shipping should be obtained in advance.

When you place an order with us, you are deemed to have agreed to be bound by our Terms and Conditions, which can be found on our Help Page.

UK DELIVERY

** This deadline is recommended by Royal Mail.  All orders placed by this date will be sent Royal Mail Second Class.  We hope you receive your gift in time for Christmas, however, we cannot guarantee delivery due to factors outside fabstuff.net's control.

Our normal standard delivery charge is £2.95 for Royal Mail Second Class Service - please allow 14 working days for delivery, unless stated otherwise with the product.

We offer an express service at an additional charge of £7.00, which also provides postal insurance - please allow 72 hours for delivery - a signature will be required.  Orders must be placed before 12pm for this service.

The service you require can be selected at the checkout.

Our delivery charge structure could not be simpler - we charge £2.95 for normal Royal Mail Second Class Standard Service delivery and an additional £7.00 for express signed for delivery. Orders must be placed before 12pm for express service.

Express goods will be sent to you either by Courier or Special Delivery, which will require a signature at destination.

 INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

If you live outside the UK and would like to place an order, please email us on hello@fabstuff.net and we will be happy to provide you with a quote for international shipping.

Please allow 28 working days for delivery, unless stated otherwise with the product.

If international orders are made without directly contacting fabstuff.net, 2.5 % will be retained from the payment card if the order is cancelled. 

If you live outside the UK and would like to place an order please email us on hello@fabstuff.net and we will be happy to provide you with a quote for shipping.


 VAT

UK orders include 20% VAT.


Gift Wrapping 

We provide a gift wrapping service at a cost of £3.75.

We will wrap your gift beautifully in our signature colours and will also, if you request, attach a handwritten gift tag with a personalised message from you.

This service can be selected at the checkout.


Site Security

We use PayPal as our  third party payment provider to take all credit card orders.   

They will validate all credit card details against the cardholder's address.


Agreeing To Our Terms And Conditions

When you place an order with us, you will be asked to confirm that you agree with our Terms and Conditions laid out on these pages.  

Please read these pages as clicking on the confirmation on the checkout pages states that you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and the changes will be effective from when they are displayed on our website.

We do not take responsibility for any errors in the pricing of our products on our website as mistakes do occur from time to time. 

If an error is discovered after you have placed an order, we will contact you and you will then be able decide if you wish to continue with the order at the correct price or cancel the order and any monies you have paid to us will be refunded.

We are not responsible for customer generated mistakes, errors or defects including spelling, typographical or grammatical errors; poor image quality derived from low resolution images, order quantity, or other ordering errors. 

Where we are not at fault, there is an administration charge for refunds of £0.95.  To prevent these errors from happening, please review your order carefully before submitting.
